Upper center console

How do you remove the upper center console that holds the garage door opener? I was I stalling LED lights and knocked something loose inside and need to disassemble to fix.

Slide your fingers under the trim around the black piece and pull it down. It will come right out.

Slide your fingers under the trim around the black piece and pull it down. It will come right out.

Just make sure you do this at the end closest to you, not the windshield. There are hooks on that end that will tear through your headliner if you pry from that end...
