Upper glove box

so after having a loaner tradesmen for about a month i got used to having the open glove box option. I used it so much that when i got my Power wagon back i swapped the door for the open box option. For me, it’s so much more useful.

Upper portion cost me $25 with shipping. Anyone agree with me?

I've got an express with the open upper glove box. Sometimes it is nice to have a shelf to throw random things but I actually think I'd use it more if it had the door, it normally just stays empty for me. Did you keep the other pieces? I'll give you the same $25 for the door and cubby if you can ship them to me.

Ill keep the door for now incase i want to go back but if i did sell it i have to imagine its worth a few hundred at least. Haven't seen one with the power wagon tag trade. I like to keep the stock parts incase i want to swap them back. Gives me options in the future

I HATED the open box, 1) too much of a hotrodder when taking off haha 2) German Shepherd thought it was a tray for chew toys.

I wanted to keep the sale with the local dealer and thought I was buying a "kit" to my surprise it wasn't and I paid $340. The "kit" below if one that M.O.P. developed

Funny, I was searching installing the upper glove box and came across this thread where you went the other way. The glovebox assembly is around $250 to $400 new. Would be nice, but the cubby is fine.

I just got done about an hour ago installing the glove box with the door. I had the open shelf and just liked the idea of being able to shut the door and have it look neater. Bought through here, had a good price.

You could probably find some on eBay, people that have changed out the open bin for a closed box. By the way don't forget you can sell your assembly for a lot of money so be careful with it when you take it out.

I've got the open shelf as well in my truck thought about putting a door kit but I like it being open to grab something or just toss in it lol

Not sure if you found an open box yet but I just purchased a upper with door and will be pulling mine out if you were interested in it, pm me if you would like.

I love the open box myself too. Also does the wife. Until we’re off-roading and bam everything goes everywhere my wife’s truck has the door and it’s empty. Mines shoved full
