Used oil analysis in Canada ?

Hey folks. Just curious if any of you canucks out there have ever done a UOA ? Experience? Cost?

If you Americans wanna chime in I guess it’s ok too. I’ll just add a couple hundred and that’ll give me an idea

Yep. I know of a truck stop for example in Calgary that advertises oil analysis. Never got into checking their price but it make me wonder if a lot of heavy truck shops offer the service.

Actually come to think of it any cat dealer should be able to do an analysis for you as well. The guy who services my grader always pulls oil samples for the lab and for warranty purposes just in case something is starting to let loose.

If blackstone cant get you a kit, I'm sure they will test your oil if you send them a sample in a home made kit. Or does anyone have a oil lab in Canada?

Edmonton. 3 hrs north. Don't know anyone who has tried them. I did get a blackstone kit & stuck it in a drawer. Needed a peanut container one day for delivery truck..and it was perfect!
