Using a 2013 PCM in a 2018 Ram

I did a search and it did not specifically get results. Is it possible to use a 2013 PCM in a 2018 Ram? I understand that it needs to be set to the vehicle. My buddies shop has been using older PCMs in Vipers because they were locked and I wondered why this was not being done. When I had my Challenger, this was being done because of the security lock on the PCM in the newer models.

You'll also need the bypass cable in your 18,besides the unlocked PCM.Let us know how you make out using a 13 PCM in your 18,as there's a few of us who wonder the same thing.
