Hey anybody know what this vacuum port is for on the front of the truck intake? Trying to figure out if I need to utilize it or cap it for my intake swap

Hook a catch can to that.
I got to put my alternator there...its an eagle intake going on a pre-eagle block. That hose is directly in the way, that's why I want to cap it off

Looks like the inlet for the hose(plastic tube) that goes from rear pcv to that spot. Can see other inlet in PVC box at back of intake. Its your pcv system. Don't think I would remove it, at best you may be able to cut it down some but leave enough to put hose on it.
