had an engine lite on , AutoZone said it was a small emissions leak so I discovered that one of the problems was the leak detection pump so I replaced it and the light went out and stayed out for a couple of months and it came back on and I changed the module by the carburetor and the light went off again and then in a couple of months it came back on, so after a trip to the dealership they wanted $700 to change the leak detection pump which I have already changed already , has anybody had any experience with this issue ?

It hangs right off the front of the engine and it's electric. I'm pretty sure all the +'13 and newer Ram 1500 trucks use them. You don't hear about them failing much.

Thanks for replying crash yeah I had an engine light on and it was a small emission leak and I’ve already replaced two of the items that I could be and the light went off for a couple of months then it came back on and being at the middle of winter I decided to take it to the dealership they said something about the vacuum pump and it’s going to be like almost $700 to replace so I’m trying to look into it further

Have a smoke test done. You might find your leak is in an emissions system hose.
