Ive been running mine since 2019. It has never been wet after driving in the rain, spray, interstate speed. Im assuming Canadian rain is just as wet as US rain, but yall have some funky stuff up there.
Now the snow, I can’t speak a whole lot to. I live in a pretty temperate climate. The whole time mine’s been on, the AGS slats were removed too. I did also pay extreme close detail to the under hood sealing.
I can honestly say its a very effective ram air/cold air system.
I guess I could ask for my IAT stats to compare.

My truck sees 2*-3* above ambient while driving. I've since changed my Diablo to show Ambient and Intake temp on the same screen, but don't have a picture of that yet. But as the pictures show, 31* ambient and 34* intake.

Update Vararam has sent an upgraded semi fibreglass filter on this Special Service Vehicle model that has the added heat shielding on the underside. Probably will use this as a test unit just to see what happens in rain and snow. Then do a report.

Any update on the special filter? I just ordered a Vararam system and was reading this thread. I live in Florida and get a lot of rain...heavy rain. Also, if you don't mind another question, do you have to take the intake system off to add oil?

You post inspired me to go out today and install my Ram performance air cleaner.

Not much to see or talk about. Had this sitting in a box for a while. Finally getting around to the install.
