Excited how it turned out. Cut the factory shroud today. Noticeable power increase!

Can lay a damn fine patch now!

Looks nice. Did you have to trim around the a/c condenser line or do they come that way now?

You can lay a patch now simply because of installing a CAI??

I have always been able to with a little brake stall in my QC with 3.55s and open diff, even completely stock on dry pavement FWIW. Congrats on the new intake, I love mine and think it was worth every penny. The way you cut your shroud just seems very nice as well. Everything lines up nice.

The intake look great. I love the orange, and nice job on the clean cuts on the shroud. Looks like it came that way.

When I got it, if I just stabbed the throttle from a stop (no brake torque) It would seem to fall on its face until around 2500 rpm and then accelerate quickly.

Did the exhaust and then the CAI 2 weeks later.

From a dead stop I can floor it and break the tires loose and then roast them all the way thru 1st gear.

Damn I don't care what anyone says, that has to be the best looking intake on the market. I just about stain my pants every time I see them. Enjoy.

looks good! As a fellow Black Ram owner I have been wondering what color to choose to break up all the black...Hemi orange sounds like a good idea:happy107:

What is this "cutting the Shroud" you guys are talking about did I miss something?

The plastic shroud that covers the radiator and support. You have to remove it or cut it back when adding the vararam because it is in the way

Man, these look really good. I love the orange color. I have been looking at these for a few weeks now and this is more for the guys who have them already....there is absolutely zero chance that water can enter the filter, right? It seems that if you are driving in a rain storm, that water can enter the filter. I know I have to be missing something. Thanks

The filter is oiled so water wont really get in. There is just as much chance of water getting in this unit as there is in a K&N, etc. that have been around forever with no issues. I have had mine out through downpours and not a single issue.
