Took the majorities advice and installed a VARARAM Air Grabber. After installing my leveling kit and changing from road tires to MTs, I lost almost 4 MPG. The new CAI helped me to regain almost all of that and a much better throttle response, can't wait to put a 87mm throttle body on.

Ummm...I don't mean to be an anti-cheerleader, but I have the 87mm throttle body and a the same intake. While the Vararam intake is awesome and I have relatively light 275/65R20 A/T tires...I have lost 1-2 mpg vs stock. My "light" A/T tires are about 14 lbs heaver each over stock, and M/T tires are heavier than that. There is no possible way an intake can make up for much heavier and much less aerodynamic/roll resistant tires. (I'm not trying to be an @$$hole, just realistic). The mods your talking about are fantastic but they don't contradict physics.

Who knows if it is an accurate #, just going by what the computer is telling me. Had 16 before the leveling kit, 13 after and now back to 15/16 MPG. Something seems to have worked. I was expecting more fuel consumption because of the greater air mix and factory settings dumping more fuel to compensate. Like a say may not be accurate, but it is what the computer is showing.

Like I said...not trying to be an @$$...just after years of experience wanted to point out what's possible and what's not. Cheers. BTW, nice setup.

I believe you dude, I get what the others are saying but not all vehicles are the same by far. I have a 2010 Camaro v6 rated at 19-29mpg something like that well I got 36.6mpg with cai, exhaust,an tuned. No one believed me But I had hand done the math and tracked all my info weekly. Again not all vehicles are the same. nor are the daily travels we all encounter. driving habits. or terrrains of hills highway etc.. Glad you gained some mileage back.

Did you have your computer reflashed for the larger tires?

Not yet, Not sure if the re-flash would make a difference since the factory tires sit at 33 inches or close to it. It only costs $100 at the dealership to get it done, might be worth a try!
Thanks for the Gen swap Bigbadram1500, still new to this forum.
