Been dealing with po305 code on and off for the past month. Came across a "Mopar diagnostics system check" coupon at one of the local dealer websites for free. So what the heck, I print it out and make an appointment only to be told the coupon only is free if they do work. Since I currently do not have a check engine light, the cost is 129.00. While I'm not surprised, is this worth a formal complaint? I'm getting the diagnosis just out of curiosity so no big deal right now.

Seeing that the coupon expires at the end of the month, I'd go ahead and schedule it out. The Tech may be able to give you are more complete analysis than simply "Cylinder 5 Misfire".

Just in, #5 injector open circuit. Needs to be replaced at $500-plus.

I paid $90 at advanced for the injector. Used this video for reference and it took less then an hour. Wasn't hard to do.
