it's the transmission trying to protect itself..but your stopped D'oh!
It's probably a glitch, but have you noticed any other icons on the screen. Has the ABS or cruise control acted up? It's possible a problem with a speed sensor.

Just turn off the truck and turn it back on.

Just a shot in the dark here. Disconnect the battery ground cable for a few minutes, then reconnect it. Maybe the system doing a reboot will set it straight.
