Vinyl wrapped the RAM letters on my tailgate

So I've never liked the matte black RAM letters on my tailgate. I would remove them except for the centering holes that they have. I would paint them but that would require removing them. So I spent $12 on amazon for a 1ftx5ft strip gloss metallic black vinyl. Below is the result. They are far from perfect I should have used a hair dryer instead of my heat gun. I am going to order another strip and redo them my OCD is coming out. That one strip allows you make 10 letter sized sections with plenty of overlap. I do like the look and the match is almost spot on. They have only been on for a day so we will see how long they hold up. At least it did give me an idea of what they would look like painted.

That's better than I could do, worse case they do sell them prepainted if you ever want a color match

Humm I didn't know that and I am scared to look at the cost.

They aren’t too bad, $150 for the set. You couldn’t pull yours, have them professionally painted, scrape off 3M tape and buy/apply new tape for less money. Check the vendor section.

Yours looks ok, just if the OCD gets to you like it does me sometimes , there are options.
