Viper 211hv help please

Need some help guys. I have a 1999 ram 1500 5.2 v8. I am installing a viper 211 Hv keyless entry system and am having a problem with the door locks. I have connected the wires per wiring diagram and when I press the button on the remote it keeps popping the 15 amp inline fuse on the purple wire. Can someone please assist with this problem. Thanks

Sounds like you have something shorting out causing the fuse to blow, i would go back and make sure all your connections are good

^^^ What he said. Also make sure all your grounds are good. If you n have to take a wire brush to all grounds just to be sure.

Check you diagram and directions carefully. When I did mine there was 2 ways to hook up door locks. Not sure if yours is the same but mine had 1 way for positive systems and another for negative systems. Hope this helps

Checked all connections and they are all good. Good ground. Wire diagram shows 3/5 wiring for this vehicle. Is there a special cap or diode that I need to put in line?

Can you post a pic of the diagram/direction for the system?
Everything work fine before you started this project?

Yes everything worked fine prior and when I connect it without keyless entry it works fine too. How do you post pics?
