Looking to be able to play my music through radio without a cord always dangling around. What's my cheapest best option without compromising sound quality

With respect I don't think you know what you are asking for.

1) cheap is a relative term
2) cheap and sound quality don't go together
3) what are your requirements...what head unit do you have, do you even want to keep the unit do you have....I could go on but hopefully you got the point....also that google thing is a big help.

I have to agree with nyciti on the fact that cheep is very Miss used term to some 100 is cheep and others 1500 is cheep. Giving a price ranges helps us help you. I would say my cheep is most people's cheep I would go on crutchfields web page and look up head units there Are many audio manufactures that make aftermarket headunits that are Bluetooth compatable for under $200 by the time you get the wiring harness and adapters your looking at $250 ish shipped to your door. I believe pionner has a headunit for $149 that's a double din blue tooth compatable. Pioneer FH-X700BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

The part that stinks with changeing the headunit on these trucks is that you need a by pass adapter and they can range from 79.99 to 149.99 depending on your trucks factory options.

I use mine for a hands-free, but this one will also stream music.

No idea about sound quality, but it's digital, so unless you plant a Farraday cage between the wireless music device and this "puck", it should be good.

Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit (about $40)

It plugs into the AUX jack and power socket, and has adhesive so you can just stick it wherever.

(Note: It's a manual thing. If you use it for phone hands-free, you have to make sure the radio is on and set to AUX.)

Sorry but I'd like to talk and play the music through the head unit. I'm ok with pitching the stock unit and going with an aftermarket. Would like to keep or under 400 installed.

Search on the Bestbuys site and use the filter option. Then have them price match based on Amazon's price :). When you say "installed", are you saying that price including the harnesses, brackets, etc including installation?

On a side note, if you want and already have a Sirius subscription, they'll sell you a tuner for half the price that you will find online.

I think the biggest thing to remember is you get what you pay for. So cheap usually means poor quality. Read reviews. I thought the top of the line pioneer was awesome until my brother had one installed in his wrangler. It sucks. Keep in mind things light back light, what it looks like when it's off and how difficult it is to stream, Bluetooth and do other things you like. His pioneer never actually shuts off unless the car is off. So if you are driving and want it black in the car, the radio still glows even though the screen is black. It's like having a dim night light in the dash. It sucks.

Yes but the BEECR-35 is only used if Bluetooth is to be added to the original factory radio (if the original look and feel needs to be retained).

I used to use this in my old Infiniti G35. It was awesome. $17!

It also has a small mic on it so you can take handsfree calls as well. You just use a micro USB cord to charge it. It also comes with a 3.5MM jack, so you shouldn't have to worry about any other patch cables.

I had some issues with feedback and other noises so I had to buy a grounding device but that was just an extra $10. However, that was probably due to the fact I kept it plugged into the charger all the time. The G35 aux input was inside the arm rest, so extra wires weren't a big deal.

If you can just remember to take it out and charge it, this would be a a great cost effective option for you.
