Hi All,

First! Truck specs!
I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie with the Uconnect 8.4 and the Alpine Sound System.

Second! My issue!
I do not have any Bluetooth audio from any of my "non-music/audio book" apps on my Pixel 7 Pro running Android 15. YouTube Music works fine, so does Audible, my audio Bible app, and any YouTube video played through the Chrome web browser.
Any other app like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts will not play any audio.
When I turn the volume dial, I don't even have the slider on top of the screen to show my volume level when I play audio from any non-music/audio book app.

I can get it to work if I start my audio Bible app first and then switch to any of those other apps, but not always.

My family member who has an iPhone 15 claims he does not have this issue. Any Audio played from his phone via Bluetooth plays just fine.

The other things I should mention. My friend who owns 2013 Ram 2500 Cummins with the Uconnect 8.4 and the Alpine System like I do. Does not have the same issue. He also has an Android (Samsung of some sort), his plays any audio coming through the Bluetooth.

I also don't think my phone is the issue. This is because everything works fine on my Kenwood touch screen radio I have in my other car and my friend's truck I had mentioned.

Thanks!

I have a P7P as well. I have opposite problem,, everything works fine in truck but some stuff nothing my other vehicle. So far, found it was audio settings I had to dig to find. Like google maps, I had to figure out that I needed to click on settings icon then press the audio settings bottom at end of list and keep adjusting volume on steering wheel button (not radio volume button for some reason) until I could hear the voice,, then step by step voice directions would work. I have to do this every time I start the car. Then phone audio through car has to be increased with many, many presses of the radio volume button (can only do when someone calls me) to finally hear people taking. Again, every time I start the vehicle. And volume for ringing has to be set as well. Sirius XM for some reason always comes on when I hook up phone even though I wasn't listening to it. The whole point of this is that it is more than likely settings in your phone that aren't playing nice with your radio, you are going to have to dig to figure it out.
