My 2006 1500 RAM makes a groaning noise from the rear end every time I hit a bump or the suspension moves. It does not do this when it's cold.
I can see where the rear shock upper housing is rubbing on the lower half of the shock and have greased the heck out of it, to no avail. I have lubricated everything I could under there with all types of lubes.
Could the shock actually be bad? It seems to be working and there's no sign of any leakage.
