2012 , 1500, 2.7. Today a warning light appeared. Red rectangular box with slash through it. Unable to find in manual or on line. Does anyone know what it means? Thanks

Rich, thanks. The light has never been on and I have not hooked up a trailer during my 4 yr ownership of the vehicle. At first, i thought it was a battery indicating light, but looking at i more closely, the image seemed more like a trailer. Icon not in the manaual, but it seemed related (after internet search) to a tow brake issue. I have to hook up my OBD Alpha, but it isn't co-perating at the moment. I am thinking now, maybe a short (rainy day) and water is dripping down from inside left of upper cab (unknown point of origin). Always, something. I will check tow wiring, double check battery, and try resetting light via OBD or battery disconnect.

Rich, in the event that you know something about this system. On th dash, in addition to warning ircon, the message box indicates "Service trailer Brake System". Also on the control module , there is "GF" illuminated green and a flashing yellow 'trailer with an exclamation mark. I got my OBD working but am unable to find any thing that can extinguish the lights or reset the system. I have looked and am trying to digest how to address this fault (to make sure no main truck system is affected). Note: I don't tow anything. I will look more on this site later this afternoon. If any pointers, appreciated. T
