I'm sure it's been discussed, but here goes nothing.....I just "stole" a 2019 Big Horn, after 40 years with Silverados. I will not buy an after market extended warranty from any company not associated with FCA. Long story short, you have to sue them to get anything out of them of significance. As a litigator, I have done this too many times for friends. So 1) Should I get one? I figure the power train will be fine, but if the electronics go, I'd be screwed; and 2) If I get one, where do I obtain it? With my Hondas, there are many stealerships selling the "Hondacare" product, and there was one stealership up north dealer that undercut all others in the USA, only making 50 bucks per each one sold. I bought this one. They made their profit by massive sales. WHen I bought my last Silverado in 2001, I swore it would be the last truck I ever purchased. Well, here I am. This time? I want this to be the last truck ever purchased. Hope it does not become a rust bucket like my Chevy's have in the past!

Thanks for the help.

Here is the big factor in buying a warranty, how many miles will you have on it by 2027?
8yrs is the longest warranty offered by FCA. Why pay for 120K mile warranty when maybe you only need 85K, that is a big cost difference.
The other factor is to buy one now or wait a couple of years, but... the price of warranties go up every year and if your truck is under a year old and less than 12K, it is $150 less on the price compared to an older truck warranty.
I just purchased one myself and saved almost $200 over the lowest internet pricing.
I got Max Care because it covers air suspension, but only 85K because I only work 11 miles from my house. I figure with some road trips mixed in it might be close by 2025.
I used [email protected]. Send him your VIN, mileage, and what warranty package you're interested in to get a quote.

I just got the FCA 7 year unlimited mileage. Perfect for Montana. In 7 years I will trade it in for a hover craft/drone/electric with optional star drive.

I grabbed the same one back in April for my 2016. I've already used it twice. I won't be in the market again till July 2023. Hopefully the 5th GEN's will still be out with all the bugs worked out.
