Just replaced cracked washer fluid tank, it came with pump. For about a month all good. Worked perfect.
The other day the pump stopped working. I tested voltage at pump plug and it was only 4.5v while my son pushed washer button.
There does bot appear to be a fuse for this so I am trying to chase down the issue.

Its only reading 4.5 v that's seams tonlow. Not sure what it's supposed to have but I was thinking it needed 12v

I think you are right that the pump is 12v, But Not sure so I am curious
At the plug on the washer measure voltage Hot to Body Ground and see what you get !
If you get 12 V then you may have a bad ground wire !

How is the volt meter grounded? Use the same ground path the washer pump uses and see what the voltage is while the pump is connected. Grounding issues become more pronounced when current is being consumed by the motor. You will need to back-probe the pump connector. If you don't have the probes, they are available on Amazon. The problem could be as simple as a ground issue.

As far as RainX washer fluid, I understood the problem was with the washer fluid level sensor on some brands and model years.
