I bought my 2019 Ram bighorn 5.7 4x4 back in December. Recently I had it in getting the headlights replaced due to leaks. When I picked up my truck and fired it up I noticed a LOUD compressor sound inside the cab. Honestly it is exactly the same sound as when you hookup a compressor and start filling a tire, that very distinct high pressure hissing\pingy sound tires make when being filled. I wish I could describe it but I think everyone knows what I mean.
It was "warm" out and I had my auto climate on. I had the dealer mech come out and have a look. He says "ah it's just the AC. it's fine". Now it's come back several times since. The other day my wife noticed (and she rarely notices anything with our vehicles tbh) it immediately and asked wtf is going on.
I can hear it over my stereo at a reasonable volume. None of my previous Rams have had this sound. Is this normal? It literally sounds like filling a tire with air, same volume, same sound to a T. Ideas?
