I hope I uploaded pic correctly. Just bought '15 1500 laramie few weeks ago. Heavy rains today and I noticed water coming out of the top screw access to the holy **** bar on passenger side front.

Anyone else to into this?

I just googled it. Seems you both are right... Likely.

Watched a video. Holy crap what a pain in the ass that repair will be. Grrrr.

This is a common issue. There are pages of threads on this. The search function is handy.

I drove my truck last night after Hurricane Sally and fully expected there to be water. Nothing this time, but truck does smell a little bit. The water usually comes from the 3rd brake light. Mine has been replaced under warranty when I still had it, but doesn't stop the water. As long as it dries out you're fine.

Get some thick weed trimmer line, open the sunroof and look in the front corners of the track.
You'll see a little drain hole on each side, run the trimmer line down about 3 ft into the holes to clear them.
Compressed air works too.

My 15's had an issue with roof welds that caused water in the passenger grab handle as pictured.
