Water on driver side floor

Occasionally, with heavy rain, have noticed small water puddle on driver side floor on after-market rubber mat in 2017 Ram SLT Quad Cab - is not wet above or below rubber mat, passenger side and rear mats not wet. During recent hurricane, had cover over cab and hood (have truck cap over bed) but cover lifted up some (maybe a foot or so) around doors. Anyone have any experience like this? I'm thinking it could be driver door seal. Thanks for any help with this!

Also check the rubber accordion-style conduit that is between the A-pillar and the door.

It can dislodge (it is a press fit) and can allow water running down the inside of the A-pillar to enter behind the kick panel and onto the floor.
