I know this is like beating a dead horse
but I wanted opnions more towards my specific situation. I have scowered google and everything from rv forums to here.
Truck 19 2500 mega cab 6.4l. Trailer 2020 east to west della terra 28krd. Specs are 34 bumper to ball 6900 empty 780 empty hitch. We will do both dry and wet camping. I feel very confident my wife will pack atleast 1000lbs worth of stuff into this camper. And if we go wet camping it has 45 gallon tank so add ruffly 400 so I can see this thing weighing 8300-8800lbs and running 1000-1100 on the hitch.
1. My thoughts i really like the design behind the anderson but worried about it actually transfering weight back to the steer axle.
2. Equal-I-zer 4 point. Seems like alot of peoples go to. But feel like I probably need to get the 12k set up. Also it seems to be over a month lead time everywhere I can get the 10k set up but that's only good for 1000 hitch weight.
3. Husky centerline witch is what my purchasing dealer is pushing. It appears to have the same 4 point friction as the equalizer but I cant find a 2.5in shank for it. It is also rated 800-1200 hitch weight.
Sorry for beating a dead horse I only want to do this once.
