I have a 2004 auto 4x4 Cummins. this weird alarm started happening whenever I open the door to my truck and the truck is idling, The horn goes and the warnings flash.
when I shut the driver door and hit the brake pedal the alarm shuts off
I do have a karr alarm 4040a that needs to come out anyways. But when its in “valet” mode it does the same thing
the factory alarm on the truck activates and deactivates normal
the other weird thing about the alarm is that it went away for about 2 weeks and then came back.
