It doesn't matter what they did 20 years ago. Putting the 5.7 in this is laughable. You're going to pull up beside any other half ton and either not get anywhere or worse, see his tailights over the super special hood on your super special bumble bee.
I guess if you like to look good coming in last, this is the truck for you.
0 to 60 in 6.1 lol
It's all based on the market and to sell these.
It will be something many want but also many simply cannot afford at the price a 392 or Hellcat version would sell for - Plus think of how much the insurance would be on the higher versions too.
So they are offering a "Toned Down" version for those that want a Rumble Bee but can't afford one that sets the standard for what it is.
Don't forget the so-called "Mystique" of a "Real" Rumble Bee" version with the Hellcat engine.
If they made these with the same production numbers as lower versions are going to be made, that just ruins it as
something special to own in the first place - Which is one big selling point for anyone with deep enough pockets to grab one in the first place.
To a point it's a thing not too far from what can be described as vanity but hey - That sells too you know.
Same trick used to sell things like Camaro's, alot of these being an RS instead of an SS version which sells for more money and the expected insurance rates that go with it.
That's why there is a 2014 Shelby Mustang in the family here because it's owner wanted it because "It's a Shelby", so he got it.
Pic of it and us at a rest area, trailering it back home from the dealership.
And you can't deny out of all these which one you'd probrably want to have if you could get it..... Which is a big part of what's going on with the Rumble Bees too.
