You went from a 40lb stock tire to a 60 lb 10 ply E rated tire, plus a smaller diameter? What did you lose? 5MPG?

I lost 2mpg in the city according to the evic when I put mine on. It is a little bit of a hit but I really like the tires.

I have 285-75x17 (34" tall) Toyo AT2 Extremes which are heavy especially since there's more rubber then 20" rims. 3.92 gears, crew cab 6'4 box and I'm getting 13-14mpg city and 18-21mpg highway at anything over 80kmhr. Right at 70-80kmhr MDS kicks in and always 25-30mpg. Wish I could change the computer to get me those numbers at 100kmhr

Nick the AT2's look great on our reg cabs even in the stock size. I have a set on my truck right now and wouldn't trade them for anything that's in its price range.

10,000km review

Love them.
Quiet enough...

Someone above commented on the size. They are the same overall height at stock. Or at least really close. The shorter sidewall is made up by the wider aspect ratio.

Fuel mileage
Bet I got on my stock wheels was 10.4L per 100.
That was driving 8 hours straight at about 80km on cruise.

Went to Windsor and back on the new Toyo's got mileage down to 11.3 L per 100

My daily average didn't change much. If I'm light on the gas all week I can run height 14s to low 15s. If I'm heavy on fuel I run 16 to 18

And that's with a totally stock 5 speed truck.

I can see minimal wear on tires... I'm taking the tire shops advice and rotating every oil change. So I just rotated for 2nd time.

I have 35" Toyo Open Country M/T and man oh man...I went from almost 700km per tank down to 390km per tank. FML they look great..but damn...they are heavy as hell and have killed my gas mileage. never again.
I have 34" AT2 Extremes which are the LT 10 ply so heavy as well. I have 3.92 gears and still get 500 miles on a tank in the city so something is wrong with your truck. My lifetime MPG is 17 and that's with towing a 19 foot walleye boat rigged for tourneys a few thousand km

I have 6 inches of lift and the 35" AT2 Xtreme's... with only 4200km's on the truck so far, I'm getting 17mpg on 2 lane highway... and that's hills, passing cars, driving it aggressive with pretty much no cruise control, AC on full... I could probably do a bit better with more calm driving habits...

Also, LOVE these tires!!!

What size tank do you have? I couldn't get my evic to read any more than 730km's to empty after a fill up doing highway driving...

Outdoorsman with 32 gallon tank. To bad it goes empty at 30 gallons and don't get the use of the other 2
