I just picked up a '13 1500 Sport CC. While washing it today I noticed 2 holes, 1 in each of the front fender wells. I noticed them on my '10 QC that I had but I thought they were made by a body guy because the truck was in an accident. Does anyone know why they're there or their purpose?

None of the local guys can find a point to them, all they do is let water, road grime, and snow to build up behind them.

found this pic, inner fender liner shows the bump in (red cicle)
the blue square shows the opening to get to the back of the head light. (this is from a 2011, not sure if 2013 is different, so I see no point to the spot.

Thanks guys! Maybe I can find a rubber plug to plug them up. I was starting to worry that maybe the truck was damaged in shipping and the dealer didn't want tell me lol!

My 2014 has them too. Noticed one the other day hunting and thought a stick had flown up and broken it and then noticed on the passenger side.

I also thought it was access for aiming the projector headlights.

My 2013 does not have them, they could be for projectors only, but all the headlight adjustments are under then hood by the fenders with little arrows pointing at the holes.

I have them on my '14 SLT, no projectors. Also not sure what they're there for, but can't imagine they're for adjustments of headlights either considering the part breakdown photo above shows an access cover which makes more sense.

Mine has them too. I checked last night. I stuck my finger in there, and a squirrel bit it. Actually, I did feel a bolt close -- possibly for the bumper/fender?
