What did you do to your Gen3 today?

haven't posted in a hot a## minute, been busy with work and well work... anyhoo. I took some VHT to the tail lights and need to finish up sanding them down for clear-coat to make it not look matte. Other than this, had the radiator replaced about a month ago cause it cracked.

Unpacked her from storage now that I'm back from vacation.

I took the sway bar completely off and it rode a ton better, but I can't take a sharp turn without the front tires rubbing, so I ordered the F150 endlinks this morning to make it a little more driveable.

I finally got my lift supports for the tonneau cover today. Installed everything good except it closes crooked now. I have to push it left or right to center it when it's closed. Noticed the top bracket for hinge near the cab is crooked . Hopefully that fixes it. Nothing like a toneau cover that doesn't close right anymore

Curious why you went with ford end links and not dodge?

They're the same configuration, but 1.5" shorter. That'll help me get the geometry a little closer to where it should be with my drop.

This is a note to everyone who posts in this thread.

If you own an awesome 3rd generation Ram. Expect that people are going to ask you to haul stuff for them as a favor.

I say this because that is what my gal asked me to do this weekend.

Took TB off today and started to clean. Used one whole can so far of brake clean on it. Need to get more and a toothbrush to really get it cleaned up. Hate how the exterior metal looks on it so contemplating on sanding and painting it but not sure.

Well, the wife and I are getting ready to buy an RV, so it'll definitely be another truck and it won't be a V6 with only a 3300lb towing capacity this time.....

I've got plenty of time to look around and find what I want, but as of now I'm searching for a good deal on a 3rd Gen Megacab dually. It seems like they're worth about the same as gold with the prices I'm finding.

I'm not going anywhere though, my son plans on continuing on with the build on the 1500, and I'm planning on getting another 3rd Gen, just a bigger one this time. I'll continue to update the build thread as we mod the little guy and you know if I can find the right 3500, it's going to get modded as well.
