Today the wife made a tent for my truck :) . We used velcro on the tonneau and on the tarp. I'm going to attach a 2x4 to each panel at the bottom and use bungee to keep it snug.

I haven't driven her in about 3 weeks, so I decided to drive it to work this morning.

I was immediately greeted with an Air Bag light, so I guess I'll do some troubleshooting on that this weekend. I don't know how you get an Air Bag light from not driving it.......

No clue. I was under the dash doing some wiring for some switches and chargers and them my son vacuumed the truck out.

I found 2 possible causes:

Either I knocked a wire loose while I was working in there.

Supposedly there's a plug under the seat that if accidentally unplugged, it'll trip the light. Those are the 2 most probable culprits in my situation, so I'll be checking those out tonight.

Any further troubleshooting will have to happen this weekend, I'm smoking chicken wings tonight and that takes priority over a truck that I don't have to drive.........:roflsquared:

So...... I did some troubleshooting (nothing serious) on the air bag light and couldn't find anything unplugged or out of place. All fuses were fine, etc. I did do some research and found out that my truck hasn't had the airbag recall done yet. I know that has nothing to do with it, but I may just take it to a dealership and have them figure it out because I do not like messing with airbags at all.

After that, I decided that unused relay was bugging me under the dash, so I cut it out and reconnected the ignition wires like stock. Got it all shrinkwrapped to avoid problems in the future and was happy.

While I was in there, I decided to go ahead and wire up my new USB charging port where the 12V power outlet used to be. The problem is that the 12V port is always hot. Since my foglight switch is where the old cigarette lighter used to be, I just used that as a switched power source instead. I got the new SiriusXM antenna as well, so I started rewiring the entire setup to clean it up. I got the radio out, got all the wires ran except for the power and ground and ran out of daylight and energy. Tomorrow evening if I have time, I will run a new power and ground wire and get everything buttoned up and looking pretty and safe.

Yeah, I'm really bad about driving it. I need to make sure I get it out at least once a week. I noticed today that I had gotten my oil changed in April and have only put 800 miles on it since then.

Conte partiro... Time to say Goodbye...

My mom gave me her car as she got a new one...
Don't have the space so I am selling the truck.

Will be back here though... and hopefully with a new truck in the future.

I'll miss the old girl even if she had a temper on occasion.

Just use sockets and a vise.

Don't have a bench vise and there's 14yrs of rust. I have to get it done by Friday around lunch time. I've been using a hammer and socket. And it's just not getting far enough so heat and PB blaster used but still not enough so the ball joint press and torque wrench.

I've gone insane

Gave into the peer pressure and decided to convince myself to get the 7" maxtrac lift. This should be interesting. Considering all my shocks are just about dead and my ball joints are done for Ive decided to overhaul the suspension (powder coating everything) all at once. Looks like I'll need a new ride for a week. Either way a 2wd long bed lifted 7" on -44 offset wheels should be fun to say the least. Wish me luck.

For removal, press and impact, I'd love to have a ball joint master set, just used one to remove my son's pressed in rear wheel bearings.
