Makes me miss my pit.

When my youngest boy is 10 years old our family will get another pit again... Im counting down, year by year.

How high? When we lived in Conifer (in the foothills west of Denver), the only hail we'd ever get was tiny...of course, that was at 8,600 feet. I still miss a lot about that state!

This was in one of the parking lots adjacent to the Denver airport...so can't be much more than 5000 feet. I'm hearing stories of baseball sized hail and I'm terrified for my truck. Never saw anything like that back in Michigan.

Switched the Helos out for Sports. And different tires. Selling the others to get positive offset instead of -12's. Would really like to find the same in +12.

Spent the morning with Rick "Ricks Ram" getting my lighted sun visors and Smatbeam rear view mirror installed. Rick put about 3 hrs in this morning doing the install and programing with AlfaOBD. Lighted sun visors are installed and wires are ran to the kick panels, will hook them up when the push button start system is installed. The Smartbeam rear view mirror is installed and working, gona have some fun testing that out tonight. Thanks to Rick again for making the time to hook me up! Looks like the push button start system will be next, always the fun stuff last! More to come with that mod.

Factory options "mods" still to be installed. So much done, so much to go!

I had my first oil change done today @ 4600 miles. Was hesitant about doing my own change with Redline 5w-20 + RP Filter or take it to the dealership. Decided for the latter as it's a new truck. Can't wait for a couple more changes to start using the Ram Honey

2018 Ram 1500 Express 5.7 Hemi

Got my head off after getting a cylinder 7 misfire. Figured I would put in a Greene cam and then saw this on cylinder 7.

Questions is do I clean up the cylinder and have the head repaired if possible, then put her back together? Or get a replacement motor with low miles and add the cam to that one?

Took the Ram for a drive to the Casino around 4am this morning, wife woke up and wanted to go "now" so who am i to say no to her. Well all was normal for an early morning drive, no one on the road except for me and every bug on the planet! Do they have no mercy? All this happened in a quarter mile stretch of highway. The windshield looks like the mirror! My wife is still laughing! Got to love the Sacramento valley.

Ouch man!

How bad does the cylinder look? Think a ball hone could clean it up? If so I would buy a new piston and see if you could get the head repaired. Unless you could find a really good deal on another engine.

Went on vacation to Florida. Put about 3300 miles on it. Very comfortable plenty of room. Only issue was the usb port i use for android auto wouldnt work one day. Worked the next..... go figure.

Installed this today. Hardest part was removing then reinstalling the wheel well liner. But found a lot of dried mudd and debris between liner and body so glad I took it off and removed it before rust started.

I’ll have the K&N system I had on it for sale soon.

Which one do you like better? Can you tell a difference between the two? Sound, performance wise

When I left for work yesterday I noticed my driver’s side low beam is out. Since the tried & true method of tapping on the headlight housing didn’t get it to magically turn on, I ordered a set of replacement ballasts & HID bulbs from retroshop. I should’ve had spares but kept putting off ordering them. Hopefully they arrive before I get pulled over.
