Wow just finished installing AEV Snorkel in my truck! It's been sitting in the garage because I refused to pay 650.00(6 hours of labor, plus tax) for something that cost 525.00.
Finally just said wtheck I'll do it myself. Read the directions 6 times while at work. Total time it took was 2.5 hrs what a rip off charging for 6hrs probably would have taken two of I had a second person. I'll take pics in the morning couldn't get any good ones at night! So excited, so was the wife I saved 650.00 for the next mod. Still have to do the antenna mount didn't have the right tools to get the hole right.

Hey, where did you get that Ram's head decal??? Someone on here was looking for one of those decals a while ago.... Talk about high labor prices, I stopped at a local place the other day to ask what they would charge to install cab lights. They told me $1,000 to $1,500 just to install them, not including the cab lights themselves!!!!

Tried to give the "Pull-Ya" treatment, but I severely lack the patience. Wash, clay bar, carnuba, and quick wax. Need to pull the grill and repaint. It's been in there almost 3 years and now starting to peel. Better than I expected for a $130 grill. Might put stock grill back in for a few days so I can take my time with it.

After you clay bar you might try some "sealant" like Wolfgang 3.0. It looks as good as wax and last about 6 months whereas a wax will generally only last about 2-3 weeks. It is about the same cost as wax.

Ordered some replacement shocks for tha front suspension just waiting on them before i can finally replace lower control arms. Got replacement lower control arm bolts. Hopefully weather comes together next weekend.

Put the snorkel on last night! This rig ready for the marsh, flood whatever! Follow @yaklyfe1. Still have to finish antenna and tweaking the fit. 2.5hrs (still got to see my Patriots win, and the Astros to to the next round MLB) easy install. As I said b4 saved myself 650.00 (6hrs labor cost) at all 4x4 shops. Now I can use that for my next mod! Super happy, can't wait to test it while fishing the Texas coast. I completely sealed airbox and all connections, killed to birds with one stone on this one, cold air intake, high water drive thru. Now I'm working on sealing inter cab of vehicle I have some firewall penetrations that need to be sealed plus doubled seal doors.

Put new 4” gel foam mattress in our rtt and packed up. Tomorrow we hit the trail for 2 days grabbed my big ole hammer to work on fender wells if needed. Got a pesky rub still only while flexing and turning

Just Changed out the oil. Mobil 1 Full Syn
Drained and refilled the transfer case
Drain and refilled the front and rear differentials
At 101k miles and no sign of it being done before on carfax, It was more for piece of mind since the fluid looked good coming out, but I was under there anyway.

POWER FOLDING TOW MIRRORS!!!

There was a bit of a learning curve with AlfaOBD. Some swearing, some tears, a little blood, but in the end I prevailed!

I know it's a little silly to be so happy over such a small thing but it's quite an accomplishment for me.
