Replaced my cabin filter, dang it was dirty!!!

Did a little camp and hike. Road back there gets a little worse each time but on the plus side it keeps more people out. Ran into a diamondback rattler, didn’t bother us non so we went our separate ways. No way I was going to f with him still a mile from camp and hour drive to town.

Just set up my SiriusXM Guardian free year trial through Uconnect.
Really just wanted it for vehicle tracking if it’s stolen. My truck came with this other goofy thing from the dealer from KYCS that locates your vehicle but only through Bluetooth so that’s crap. I can also do my door locks and start my truck from anywhere there’s cell service which is good for airports I guess

Memorial Day 2020. I installed my Fan Pole and mounted a Valley Forge Flags 4x6 embroidered Presidential Series Old Glory to it for the drive into work. The Mrs. snapped a photo as I pulled out of the driveway. (Yearly tradition for Memorial Day, Independence Day & Veteran’s Day) I had a lot of people waving to me during the drive which was pretty cool. I’m ordering a 4x6 Betsy Ross Flag for Independence Day this year. I have a 3x5 now but the size of the 4x6 looks so much better on the truck. I love driving down the road and seeing so many houses with flags out and flags lining their yards and driveways. Remember and honor our fallen, today and every day.

Driveshaft is in. Took it out for few quick runs. Brought it home rechecked bolts. Then gave the condenser and radiator a spray.

It took us camping.
We had a great weekend.

Somehow I lost parking lights to the trailer plug. Thankfully I didn't need them. But, I will have to come up with a fix.

Beautiful weather...so glad to make our first trip, even though it came a month and a half late

Also took it over the scales. Still have lots of Capacity. Sure makes for a very enjoyable tow though.

We cleaned out a bunch of stuff we haven't used in 5 years and the tanks were all empty.

We are heading out again tomorrow.

Dropped the truck off at my local DCJR dealership to get some things looked at. Hoping to get the drivers seat replaced or fixed due to it rocking when accelerating or stopping and seeing what they will do about my 8.4 touch screen because the wear marks on it are ridiculous for a 2 year old truck. My wife's 2012 dodge journey's 8.4 still looks brand new with not a mark on it. Hope to hear some good news by the end of the day!

I'm thinking about going in the opposite direction with the badges. lol Gonna keep the Hemi and remove the 1500. I don't know, maybe all of em. I'm still mulling it over though.

My birthday was last week, so the lady and I grabbed the puppy dog to head off for some camping. Went out to Hickory Run State Park in eastern PA.

Had a great time and the campsite was absolutely packed. Probably the most normal things have felt since March.

Got pretty hot, and the Big Fella is due for a haircut so he chose to recuse himself to the shade of my truck.

I'm 1/2 way through my trial. So far its been good but we live in Canada so the crappy factory remote start anything is better. I have to hit start 2 times before it does anything but think its worth it. It gives you a vehicle health report every month which is handy. Fuel, tire pressure oil life and mileage. It will 100% become handy if you ever lock your keys in the truck. I think at the end of the trial it's $20 a month and prob worth it but I'm going to haggle and see if they can knock it down. They did that for me for Sirius for the last 3 years before i just went to Spotify. Plus you don't have to carry the extra FOB on your key chain.
