Looks a lot 'cleaner'. I like it. Yup, gonna pull off the RAM 1500 on the sides, then the REBEL and 4X4 on the tail gate, and then black out the front skid plate and RAM badge. Then, after a new black tipped cat back exhaust I should be done.

I haven't actually done the debadge-ing or painting the front skid plate yet, but I did put it through the photoshop machine to get a looksee:

Gonna git er done this weekend.

Scratched my speaker cover. Not sure if that piece can be replaced without replacing the entire door panel. It's not even that bad but of course my eyes fixate on it but don't feel like buying a whole panel. Mad at myself for being careless. 651e8076671e64b2641e1eeb028ef950.jpg02d01bf9e71117c490ce6b63b0a656d0.jpg

Took the family out to our Socal desert to enjoy the outdoors. Initially i wanted to show the kids the nicely sculptures we have in the middle of the desert in Anza Borrego but i didn't know the area was going to be closed because of the Corona virus crap. The entire park trail system is open to the public now but this specific area is still closed. We'll be be back in a couple of weeks anyways so hopefully this will be open by then.
https://www.theoutbound.com/san-diego/photography/visit-the-anza-borrego-metal-sculptures#:~:text=The Anza Borrego Sculptures are like something straight out of a movie.&text=An artist named Ricardo Breceda,foot-long serpent, etc.

So instead i decided to explore the sand washes around and made it a spa day for the truck plus i took the opportunity to teach my 14 13 and 12 YO kids their first driving lessons with the big ol girl. They had blast. We literally had the entire wash for us, so all 3 drove the truck around Fonts point wash in Anza Borrego and learned how to use the mirrors before turning, what turn signals are and how to operate them ,how to give the truck some gas in a controlled way and drive in very loose sand while in 4x4 hahaha. it was a great experience for the family.

Truck felt incredibly well put and we spent around 2 hours going around most of these washes just enjoying the day and working out the suspension.

Some of my favorite memories are learning to drive in a big 4wd truck.

1980 K series 3 SPD with granny low. Gravel roads, target shooting and peeing off ALL the bridges, lol.

The wife and I took a little trip yesterday (12 hour round trip) to pick her up a project truck (yes she like working on truck's, mainly older truck's). Hopefully will pick my project truck up next weekend. Definitely need a bigger trailer.

Picked up a 1987 Chevy k20 with a plow.

Much love for the squarenose c and k series trucks. Best driving truck I’ve ever owned.

Finally added the tow mirror brackets, not sure if I needed them, drove around for 2 weeks with no issue, but parts finally arrived.

I need to order some myself. Been running two mirrors for a few months now

Looking good. I did the trash bag trick when I painted mine. I'm too messy not to try and keep it off of everything. LOL. I put the R1 Concept rotors and ceramic pads on my truck and it made a huge difference.

Ordered the maxtrac 2.5 leveling kit with Fox shocks. Also got new wheels, 20x9 +0. Plan to keep the stock tires for now. Here’s a before pic, will follow up with afters this week after the parts come in the next couple of days!

changed my bulbs because one was burnt out. Put in Sylvania Ultra 9005s in. Still crappy output. I really wish there was a decent reliable HID option that didn't cost a fortune.

That’s awesome! Looks great! I did the hood. The stars were a pain to release from the backing but over all not to bad to lay on a hood. I could imagine how hard the roof might have been. 1d306f5071d22ca1b202484bb14e006b.jpg

Thanks.... l like how you did yours as well :waytogo:

I actually had the other problem. Stars went easier than the strips, but with a little patience everything came together.

Thanks for flying the flag too :waytogo:

Changed the oil today. The change oil message has been on for a couple of days so i went down there and got it done this afternoon. 8800 miles since last change and like every time the change oil message goes off, she gets Castrol Syn 5W30 with MO339 filter and pours like a kitten after that :)
