Finally removed the faded and wrinkled vinyl between the side windows. They've been bugging me for a while, so I waited till it got hot out and peeled them off. Used a 3M eraser wheel and a little goof off for some residual adhesive. The paint underneath is beautiful and I think it looks much better without it.

Also picked up a 75 Plymouth Duster (slant 6) for my son. 78k original miles and has been sitting in a garage for the last 25 years.
I think it's a great project for him, and hopefully keep him out of trouble....he's 17[emoji15].

I just got matte black vinyl done on my raised part of my hood... I love it. I also got an R/T bed stripes aswell.

Still have to do the subwoofer...got a bit late. I'll get to it soon. Swapping in shallow Pioneer 8" sub.

Also have to mount my gun magnet for my new H&K VP9 and fill up the Rambox with numerous items I bought (tow strap/tow hooks/first aid kit, etc).

I have the truck about where I want...just going to add some small items here and there over the next few months. I have 1050 miles on it now.

The speaker switchout really improved the sound overall. Crisper highs overall. Haven't had much time to play with it.

Mufflex DODM80 Muffler Delete/Y-Pipe


Turns out the previous owner of my truck had some Flowmaster muffler on there. When i bought the truck the salesman told me it had a flowmasters exhaust on there but i didnt really believe him and just thought he was bull****ting. Not sure what version of whatever, but I always thought it was the stock muffler because the Flowmasters imprint was on the top of the muffler so it had no branding when I crawled under the truck. But I always wondered why my truck was a little bit louder then other stock Ram Hemis.... now I know why lol.

Anyways, I fricken love this thing. My truck sounds so damn mean now. I've fallen in love with driving it all over again!!!!

We're about tied on mileage. I think I'm in the lead tho

I'm liking that antenna. Been looking for a stubby myself. Did you have the upgraded sound system? When my truck buffers the radio to HD radio, it sounds incredible. Especially with the surround sound on.

Oh I'm sure you'll beat me on mileage usaf2006...I only put 1000 on per 6 weeks or so...and thats heavy. BUT...I take (2) 4500+ round trip miles each year...so I'm thinking February I'l jump from 5K to 10K pretty quick I put on 17K or so each year...2 trips and 6-7K extra

February 2018: Minnesota to California... back through Vegas...

Only do a stubby antenna if you llke and use the XM Radio...if you use FM/AM alot a stubby will be problematic on the reception. I only use XM or my iPod and never use FM...so its perfect for me.

The stubby I got is $7 on Amazon...there are others that are overpriced.

I have the Alpine system...replaced the (3) dash speakers and the (2) rear door speakers. If you don't have the Alpine system it might still be worth a $200 or so total upgrade to the front and side speakers. There are YouTube vids on upgrading the stock system.

Overall its not a HUGE upgrade..but the Infinity dash speakers and 6x9's in the rear doors sound great...nice upgrade for a few hundred.
