Don't know have exact numbers other than a "WAG". The hood for example is close to twice the weight of my previous hood to give an idea. Which brings up a recommendation for anyone venturing into the same mod..... get the hood struts for the 2500. 1500's won't cut it.
Wow wouldn’t have thought the hood was much heavier. That’s interesting.

I’m liking the look man you did a great job. Got any further back pics yet?

I always wondered why Ram didn't install (2) under the hood engine bay lights. Seems like one just doesn't cut it, and is never on the side you wish it was.

Well that's an easy fix. I'll just tap into the existing wire loom and install another one on the other side. Seeing as how I have the hood insulation removed while I did the hood swap, this seemed to be the time to do it.

When I reinstalled the insulation, I'll just trim enough away from the new side to expose the light.

Quick and easy mod, and definitely worth it :waytogo:

I've had way too much time on my hands.

Good Morning! Now don't get upset with me, but I not only drove it, but I cleaned up the interior surfaces that are touched by me and my passengers. Gotta keep it clean now. :hidesbehindsofa::waytogo:

Welcome to my world! That’s me every outing. My neighbours probably think I’m insane or a serial killer [emoji2369]

Flushed cooling system. Took all dang day and 4 rounds of fill/drain with distilled water it was pretty nasty. Now all clean and filled with fancy purple Mopar OAT.
At least I won't have to do it again for a loooong time!

I re-skined the Extange Trifecta cover on my 19 Classic. I picked up a used tri-fold cover for $100 and re-skined it for $131 so now it looks bran new. A good coating of 303 and she looks *******. $231 instead of $350 plus sounds good to me.

Thank you sir, I'm on call for a few more days before I get to drive it again but I am looking forward to em. For brake lines I've been eyeing the kimper performance ones, probably do +3" just to be on the safe side since I'm pretty sure you need to start at the hardline and flare em. Yes I do have the 30" shocks but I wouldn't let them droop out that far, The coils themselves begin to unseat at roughly the 29 3/4" mark. But at 29" is when things start to look uneasy to me, mainly the pinion angle in relation to the drive shaft, I'm not savy enough to start tweaking on the control arms to set the maximum allowable angle which I have no clue about.

The Mopar 2" lift kit comes with longer shocks, i haven't been able to to verify with somebody else about the shocks that come with that kit, but @TOM153 mentioned here those longer shocks came with the Kit, post# 15 here: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/rear-end-ride-quality.143948/page-2
The shock in questions from the Mopar kit (part# 33-185569) are 29.7" extended so i'll think we will be ok at 29".
He doesn't say anything about brake lines, so i'll try to extend my brackets as much as i can first and see the stockers will allow me enough slack for an extra 2". last time i checked the driver side has plenty to unseat the spring and still have more slack without the trackbar connected, but the passenger side didn't, i think i can make it work with a longer rear bracket.

Not exciting. Drove it to work today and driving it to work again tomorrow.
Maybe I'll give her a little love on Thursday or one of those days after that. She's not really dirty, just a little pollen covered.

Did mine with the trackbar still connected, to give you an idea this is what the rear end looks like at the 29ish area. The brake line will reach as is but I just don’t have a good feeling about it.

Accutune came back to me today told me the Fox shocks i ordered won't be ready until mid-late October and that's shipping from Fox to them. I'm not going to wait 5 months to get shocks. I asked to see if there is anything we can do with a set of Kings otherwise i want a full refund. Damn it.
