Picked me up a brand new hard tonneau cover today. Found it on my local craigslist for $300 still new in the sealed box. I offered the guy $200 and he accepted, we was so happy to get it out of his garage. Wow I scored!! Its like a $900 tonneau cover and its the exact on I have been wanting! Just installed it, fits great and looks good to. Thinking about painting it white to match the truck, what do you all think?

Hey, how low did you go on your truck? what size tires/wheels? I bought mine with a 2/4 drop already on it and want to go 4/6 but was wondering if the 305/45/22 tires I have on there would fit.

Its currently has a 3 inch drop up front and with air bags in the rear I can have anything from a 4 inch to a 7 inch drop in the rear. The pic you see if at a 3/6 drop, this levels out the truck. My tires are a 285/45/22 right now, factory size for the factory 22 inch rims with no rubbing. I think those 305/45/22 tires may rub with a lower drop.

So last week I had ordered these lights from AlphaRex



The Pro Series G2 in Alpha Black. I planned to open them up, and swap out the projectors and the weird projector mounts with the custom setup from my current build, so I would basically be swapping in my dual D2S projectors, and swapping the amber corner markers for smoked ones and then keeping everything else in the new lights like the DRL boards and bezels and stuff.

But then I thought about it and decided I would rather order the new Luxx version with the LED Projectors already in them. Plus the projector shrouds are black on the Luxx, unlike the Pro Series where they are chrome.

So I ordered these today:




I was super lucky that my first order was not suppose to be delivered until tomorrow so AlphaRex was able to contact FedEx and recall the shipment back to their warehouse, saving me the trouble of shipping it back to them and having to pay for the return shipping. This was definitely a nice break.

So once the Luxx arrive sometime early next week, I am definitely opening them up to swap out the orange corner reflectors for some custom made Smoked Reflectors.

Ran a load of yard debris To the dump from Hurricane Sally. Bought my new Ram 2 days before Sally hit Pensacola. We didn't have any major damage, but there were tree branches all over the place. Everyone's Front yards are piled high with debris. The county still hasn't come by to pick it up (hopefully this week). Got tired of waiting so I piled it all up in my pristine ****** truck bed and took it to the dump. Took some neighbors stuff also.

Installed the Airlift 1000. Saw several people say it only took them like 2-hours, I’m beginning to learn that whatever time it takes the “average” person to do something it takes me twice as long (hahaha). Probably took me the longest to decide how I wanted to run the air lines.

One question, those of you that have these what PSI do you keep in the bags when not under load, or general driving? I have roughly 8lbs and it rides like a 3/4 ton now. Instructions recommend leaving at least 5lbs in them, just wondering how I can get my 1/2 ton ride back.
