Hit 30k miles. Tried to pick up fuel filters yesterday and do the swap, but they only had the back one. So now i get to wait until next Thursday. Got to schedule an oil change to.

Washed/waxed it, changed the oil/filter, debadged it and installed a front/back dash cam.

Looks great! I’ve been debating removing mine or doing plastic dip,I like the blacked out Rams but have a little chrome on wheels & the bolts on flares & paint is max-steel so can’t decide. I see we have the same steps, how long have yours been on are they holding up, they look like they are in pic’s

Well I pulled the trigger, doing a bed trade with a local Ram owner. My 2017 Ram 6.4' standard bed for his 2018 Ram 6.4' RamBox bed. Basically no cost for the trade except that I have to pay to have my new bed painted to match. Body shop got my bed off yesterday so they can paint it up to match the other guys Ram. Should have pics of my new RamBox bed on Monday. Hope there are no snags, just want it to look like factory again.

Damn I so wish I could find someone who wanted to do this trade, even. I’d so love a Ram box on my RCSB.

On a completely unrelated note; I posted my first full length YouTube video last night... super excited to make more.

Thanks! I'm happy with the look, and after some digging around about PC'ed rims, it could be the lug nuts not seating properly, or there's the possibility of the rims having warped due to the high heat in the process. I'm taking it to a place that does Road Force Balancing and see what they can do for it. Hopefully, they can get it smoothed out, but this has been an expensive learning experience so far. Money I should be saving for some pre 100k maintenance which coming up soon.

Discount Tire finally got it right. They didn't remove the old adhesive from the other tries/stabs at it though, so now I gotta get in there with some Goo Gone. Ugh. I should have just went there the first time. I'm just glad this fiasco can come to a close so I can move on to the next one. Headers.

599 off of ebay and the harness from retroshop was 200. The tint was so expensive like 20.

I’m interested in getting a set. So 5th gen tail lights fit gen .4 and work with a harness??

Gave the ole girl a lil luv’n today:

-filled up with 93
-Replaced the dirty air filter
-Finally got to use my fancy drain plug to collect a sample and not make a mess while performing an oil & filter change!

Took her on our family trip to the beach so I’ll get to the much needed wash/detail tomorrow

Added some bullrings which had been in my Amazon cart for a while and a coupon popped up so for a pack of 4 couldn't go wrong. Super easy install in the back just trim the rail cover to match the size of the post hole. The front I cut a smaller hole than the outlined markings because as I expected the markings on the rail cover do not match the post hole beneath. I then used the piece I cut out of the back holes as a template. Very happy with the way they turned out and seem very solid. Look forward to not always having to shove my arm down to grab a bed hook.

Right now $49 with a 20% coupon.

Been hearing a thudding noise coming from the passenger front wheel when turning left under load. Narrowed it down to either lca bushings or wheel bearings. Since wheel bearings are relatively cheap decided to go that route and do both sides. Got a little carried away tightening the rod end bj and heard a pop, cracked my steering knuckle. Had to call 6 dealerships to find one in stock and $404 later picked up a replacement.

Damn.. it's crazy you can beat the chit out of it with a hammer but it won't hold a lot of tq with the nut?, unless you really went Gorilla tight ? :) Cool thing you were able to find one on the fly.

Right ! Beat it with a sledge to pop em loose. Lol just got a little carried away with the impact. Usually use the impact to snug em then torque em down by hand.
