That is coming up for me. What did you use if you dont mind me asking? Ive been up in the air about going with a more performance rotor and pad or just replacing it with a Napa set and calling it good.
I went with Wagner OEX pads
And coated rotors....
I put them on my wife's car a couple of months ago and have been really happy with no brake dust or noise

Those are too bad on the price. How is the brake dust?

Did brakes & rotors this morning.....truck only has 22,000...but the factory brakes were noisy and dirty!!!
Don't feel bad brother.
Mine were crappy at 13k miles!!! ******, ****** materials. I went with the OEM again, but if they crap out early the second time,......I'm going with the R1 brake set up I think.
that's "IF" I keep the truck. I kinda want something new. Something that doesn't cut my balls off, I mean my cylinders off, when driving. LOL

Ah the good ole' days.......

I remember when $83 actually filled up the tank. Now....lucky if it covers 2/3, but again..... I didn't buy a truck to save gas :waytogo:

Yep! I’m putting $75-$85 in my tank about every 4-6 days. I do quite a bit of driving daily and hope to start fixing my car soon so I can park this beast for a little bit

Finally got some time to work on the ol girl. Put in some sport seats that I bought from another member here. Installed the carbon fiber steering wheel i purchased from ebay. Also, picked up these blacked out LEDs for the side mirrors from amazon. Probably selling my ram rebel steering wheel with red stitching soon. Im not 100% on this carbon fiber one yet.20210822_105204_HDR.jpg20210822_105157_HDR.jpg20210822_105216.jpg

Nice job :waytogo:

Just how I envision my interior to be.

Any other info on the wheel? Looks great.

Its taken me a long time to get to this point. Seats from a sport, headliner and pillars from a rebel, Door panels and dash from a laramie. The floor mats from a limited. Oh and center console console from a rebel as well. The only thing original is the carpet. Originally started as a base express until I found this site. As for the steering wheel just got to ebay and search carbon fiber steering wheel for ram 1500. Just a word of advise make sure you inspect the teeth where you bolt the wheel to the column. If they're in bad shape return it.

Finally have a full set of wheels for the dually after a total fiasco with CARiD after they shipped me 3 wheels in June and the 4th was stuck on backorder until week ago. Never again will I buy anything from them. Anyway, I sent the wheels to a local polishing shop to get the mirror polish done before mounting them up. Hopefully they will actually be on the truck tomorrow!

Found an old photo from 2016 in front of the replica train house my grandpa grew up in front of. It’s still in stock form minus the black wheels. Oh how far it’s come.

Blacked out some interior stuff and then got everything but my throttle body cleaner. Those beautiful front and rear rotors with carbon fiber pads tho! Summit racing guys. Cheaper in my case then factory stock. Let me know if anyone wants part numbers on the rotors and brakes. Truck is ready for later this week and it’s final push of maintenance.

What rotors are you going from?

Blower motor starting to sound a bit off. Just ordered a new one. I run the air pretty much all the time, and all year out here.

Ha, Funny you say that. Today the air blew hard but once it’s been going it starts to slow down to barely any air movement. you can here the motor….sounds like a baseball card in a bicycle spoke (if you know the reference)…..

Side note: Added a 24” Magnaflow today. Sounds amazing! No drone.

I do.. I'm guessing mine is due to wear & tear from use, or dirty bearing. Either way, I'm just gonna replace it and know it'll be one less thing to come up at some point.

Mind sharing which part you’re going with? I need to order one also.
