Round trip from Orlando to Nashville to explore a job opportunity. Decided I need to hurry up with ordering those wheel spacers so that I can get those centramatic rings installed- so I ordered Bora 13mm spacers
If I take this new job I won’t need to use a parking garage so it may be time to go up to a 6” lift and 37s

Well, after backtraking my steps, I remembered that the battery voltage was around 10. So yesterday grabbed my bro-in-law and we jumpstarted the truck at the dealership. After about 20 min of connection, it started up. I took it to a couple of auto parts stores for a scan and they both showed 900+ amps under load. Also took off the jumper cable that links the 2 batteries and same results. The charging system is keeping a good 14v. So now, I picked up HF battery tester (sale $15) and verified it's reading on a spent battery that I had laying around and almost dead on reading when I took it to one of the stores that uses the fancy electronic version. Thinking that the batteries checked good because they got charged from the drive to the store and checked within 5 min of driving. So I will test again in the morning after sitting all night.

Love how you installed that winch

I got to drop my bumper today and pull my winch out. Its making a weird sound under load. Might still be full of **** from the mudhole I played in a few months back.

Let it sit over night and did not get a warm fuzzy. The readings barely went into the "weak" area. Sooo off to WallyWorld for couple of AGM batteries. $385 later. I did some running around with the hunny and then she is "what is that weird sound"? I knew it was probably the plastic cooling fan. Found this wedged in the area and barely hitting the fan blades.

Nice - I've found it also works real well if you have to pull the wiper arms

I gave my Ram a bath earlier this week. The following morning I was almost unable to unlock the doors. Due to a freeze overnight the locks had froze.

Replacing bulbs that do not light, again. Ongoing issue. Currently out: drivers headlight (couple times a year), 2 of the 3 under tailgate lights (every month or so), both drivers side rear fender lights (sockets this time). Damn thing just eats bulbs.

Recently bought my Ram 2016 2500 cummins, and have this weird gap on tailgate handle where it's leaving this gap between the handle and the tailgate itself. Also notice that the key lock won't turn with a key in it though power locks work fine with remote for tailgate/truck doors. Opened it up (a couple times now) and handle has no room to realign it flush. Guessing it's wrong handle or something. Bought new primed handle and painted to match with truck paint color, installing it today. Also lubed up key lock and got it turning again, but lock assembly itself is binding still so ordered a new Mopar assembly as well so I don't get locked out this winter as truck has hard tonneau cover on it.

Installed new drilled/slotted rotors. Installed new coils/ plugs. Replaced heater core and evaporator. Flushed coolant. Installed cabin air filter kit. Installed tailgate protector and a Husky bedmat. All in about 3 days.
Gosh... It's nice to be recently retired and not have to work so hard! Lol
