2011 2500 6.7l Big Horn. Sticker was $53,900 and I paid $44,000 out the door: tax, title, reg. I ordered it and paid cash which helps, F&F discount, military discount, and they made a mistake on 1) color 2) wrong radio pkg. Thought I got a pretty good deal when all was said and done.

I have a 2009 Ram Laramie 1500, I bought it back in 2009 with 100 miles on her. I got her from a Dealer going of of business. I reside in Texas. I paid $32,000 plus tt&l. I think it was a deal of a deal personally, had all options but sunroof, and overhead screen, I have everything else.

Around $30,000. Dealer around here is selling a 2011 laramie crew cab with 29,556 miles for $33,950 and another 2011 laramie crew cab with 12,695 miles for $34,950. Pricing depends on area though

With tax I paid around $22,500 for my 2011 RAM 1500 ST, with the chrome apprearance package, tinted windows, and 3.92 gearing.

I almost went for a 2500, but since I've got a 100,000 mile powertrain warrenty I feel ok towing 7500lbs.

I got quoted $31k for a mildly upgraded 2012 CCSB 4x4 express. It had trailer brakes, which comes with the upgraded dash, tow package, and some sport exterior items.

And that was without even test driving it or sitting down to do any paper work. Haha

:killer: LOL

The day you are ready to sign, walk in with a salesman's card from a competing dealership in your hand. Make certain they get all your info on paper before you go negotiating.

Then tell them you are completely ready to pull the trigger, willing to walk out with the truck "right now" and tell them you are willing to go $27,500.

If they say no, tell them thanks anyway you will just head to another dealership to pick one up, and head for the door. Don't stop and look at any other vehicles on your way out, just go for the door.

They will either stop you before you get to your car, or, you will be getting a call from them within a day. Either way, once they make contact you have them.

Works 90% of the time, they know the trick you just have to stick to your guns. Remember, there are probably 25,000 other trucks just like it for sale.

Oh, also, always buy at the end of the month. Salesmen and managers are always trying to meet deadlines and sales figures and this is the by far the best time to hit them up: crunchtime.

I learned it watching my grandpa. He was a master at it; very corteous, very polite, never said anything which could be taken by the salesman as insulting.

Would just simply tell them "Thank you for your time, but I think I will go to such and such and buy it there."

Hook.

Line.

Sinker.

I've never purchased a new car, but this works just as well on used cars. It takes a little bit of will power to walk away, but just remember there will always be another. Haha

Just bought a 2012 2WD Sport Crew Cab in Southern California to replace my 2011 that got totalled in an accident. Did deal entirely through email & phone calls, hardly any negotiations. Hope this helps someone else get a good price.

Here's the options:
-Sport Premium Group
-3.92 Axle Ratio
-Anti-Spin Differential
-Sport Performance Hood
-32 Gallon Fuel Tank
-730N Media Center
-Power Adjustable Pedals

$41,230 MSRP
$36,000 Sales Price
-$4,000 Factory Rebates
-$500 College Graduate Incentive
=$31,500 Final price (+taxes & $55 doc fee)
