I'm going to need new tires for the winter so I was thinking the 265/70r17 terra grapplers, however if I end up getting a 2500 in the spring time should I keep my stockers for the 1500 to throw them back on and sell the terra grapplers?

alright, because either way, if I do or don't get a 2500, which I DO plan on getting one, but just in case I don't I will hang on to the terra grapplers

i would just get some cheap LTZ's... because when you get a 2500 you will want 35's so you wont be able to reuse the ntg's anyway...

I think you guys are mis understanding him. He wants some good tires to hold him through the winter until he gets the 2500. He wants to know if he should keep the old ones so when/if he gets the 2500 he can throw the old tires back on the 1500 and sell the NTGs to recoup some of the money. He is not saying he is gonna use the NTGs on the 2500.

I think you should steve cuz my NTGs in that size only cost me 650 M+B. You could easily get the old ones thrown back on for cheap, and have them there to trade/sell the 1500 for the 2500. The money you make selling the NTGs will more than cover the cost of swapping them and you wont have the crap ones for the winter. Besides if you sell the truck yourself just add in 2-300 bucks for the fresh tires.

I saw the NTG's for around 560ish a couple weeks back and town fair tire said they can match the price so I will keep looking for lower prices until November, which is when I would want to get them on. Then if I get the 2500 in the Spring, I can sell the NTG's and throw my stockers back on the 1500 and sell the 1500 and NTG's separate. Then I would probably get 35's in NTG's for the 2500 once I wear the tread down on the stock tires for the 2500

The terra grapples start out awesome but mine lost the sharp edges on the side. I have seen everyset due it after I bought mine and started noticing them more. Maybe the heavier load range would help it out.
