Minor gripes 1) window switches too far forward (i keep pressing the left rear window when i want to lower the driver front) 2) phone speed dial presets keep getting deleted (all of them) 3) oil drain location. Right above the sway bar makes a mess when changing oil. 4) oil filter location right above the power steering rack (spills oil all over the rack making a mess.) 5) the fact that the rear sears do not fold down

Use a large ziplock bag over the oil filter as you unscrew it. Oil drips in the bag... filter drops in the bag. Zip it closed and no mess, as long as you’re not clumsy with it.

I’m only familiar with a few things on the Rebel because I never was interested in one but, the side-views don’t have the little heat-wave symbols on the lower-inside corners? That’s odd. But I’m curious... I’m not sure if it matters on newer trucks, or if it even mattered on my 2018 Limited but do you have the heat strips in your back glass? Furthermore speaking, I don’t know why it would matter but I would almost think that if you didn’t, you wouldn’t have heated mirrors because on today’s trucks since it’s all on the same circuit, that might be why. I mean honestly, I don’t why you couldn’t have heated mirrors if you didn’t have a defrosting back window.

Onto your air ride-

What do you mean when you say you have no features? If memory serves me correctly, your air ride should be almost identical to mine, and every other late model non-Rebel. You won’t have two off-road modes like I do because your normal ride height is basically my off-road 1 setting. I think there might be a little difference in how your highway mode works.

But irregardless what it’s on, the four corner air ride is always self-leveling; or well, it should be. But what were you hauling in that trailer? It musta been pretty heavy because for your back end to squat like that, the auto-leveling does have a limit to how much it’ll level to when you’re loaded heavy.

But as far as those features, yo should have the transport mode, Jack mode, wheel alignment mode and easy entry/exit mode.

@corneileous I apologize I wasn’t able to respond right away. Mirrors don’t have the heat symbol on them.
Air bag option isn’t anywhere on my dash. It should be in the one empty slot between the trailer brake selector and the traction control switch.

Four Corner Air Suspension is an option, even on a Rebel. Clearly you do not have it.

Seat belt height adjuster squeaks like a dog toy, auto bright calibration is crap. Only 2 weeks in so hopefully this is the worst of it, the truck is fantastic otherwise.

The turning radius is horrible, at least compared to my 2014 Dodge Durango. I can't get in the garage on the first turn , always have to back up. My brothers F150 can make it easily.
As someone else said, the rearview mirror is woefully small.

- seats do not go down far enough (I'm 6'4" )
- regenerative braking applied to scrub speed while in cruise control is too aggressive - possibly costing me mpg compared to our 2014 Big Horn
- power running boards extend out too far from the side of the truck
- automatic wipers wipe too often
- the blob (containing wifi/camera etc) behind the rear view mirror is getting a little ridiculous now as far as size - impossible to find an inconspicuous spot for my dash cam
- usb connections in front part of the center console are blocked if you place phone there

Still love this truck though; the list above I would consider minor quirks, except for the seat which I may have customized in future

You can turn off the rear braking without turning off the warning beeps. It's in your settings screen. I turned my braking off because here in the mountains the system thinks asphalt is impending doom :werd07:

I did not know you could turn off the braking and leave the audible warning live. Thanks for the information. I leave my sensors off unless I’m parking in a tight spot. The auto brake does keep you from backing into a ballester, wall, fence or other parked vehicle so it does have its redeeming qualities.

Even if it didn't malfunction (as it did the first day I brought mine home) there is no way it would let me park in my garage with the braking turned on. I do leave the sound on, just for warning sake in places I'm not familiar.

The usual bluetooth audio delay when streaming to the radio (Jeep and Nitro was the same)

And after making a phone call the "Phone Ready" display on the radio that won't go away

Yes. It wipes too often at the lowest setting.
Do you have the automatic wipers enabled in settings? I've left mine on for days without noticing because they won't do anything if there is no rain. I have found they work 100x better than the automatic high beams.

The rain sensitive wipers on mine is the same way. It wipes way too often and way too fast, even on the lowest setting and mine is the same as this one.
