What fits the OEM sub box

What size subwoofer will fit in the OEM subwoofer box? Any brand suggestions would be a help to, thanks in advance!!

I believe it comes with an 8" Alpine sub-woofer.

pretty much right. Too small and the plastic vibrates way too much

A shallow 8" should fit. I had mine out, but didn't measure. I think it's < 4.5". An Alpine Type R may fit, but you may have to add a spacer. Of course you'll want a decent amp, and beef up the box if you replace the sub. I know I had an Arc8 (same as ID8), and it wouldn't fit without modification. I decided to ditch it all, and go with a 10" from scratch.
