I’ve wheeled Moab, Sand Hollow and all over Arizona. Boogie though Ocotillo Wells and done several trips from Barstow though the Mohave. Drove truck to and back from all those trips trips too. I’ve bent an oem drag link in all my outings. Suspension is key. It soaks up a lot of the abuse the truck will see. You’re just not going to break much getting off on old country and Forrest roads. You’re going to have to beat it to break stuff. Plan for getting stuck more than breaking but i don’t think it’s going to leave you stranded.

Just have broke oem drag link. Bent it in maob. Suspension is a complete Thuren suspension custom tuned. Added rock sliders and oil/trans skid. Removed front bumper added winch. Obviously I cut truck in half it was a long bed. But that the suspension remained the same. Just have much better approach, break over and departure angles. I wheel with PW’s that are stock a lot. They get though everything just fine with body armor. Mine just struggles less in some places and I’m have no worries if body damage once I’m past the cab lol.

if you said you wanted rcv's and dynatracs and emf joints just for the hell of it ,who could argue with that. but when you said you wanted them because you might break the stock parts i knew you was out of touch with reality and wasnt mechanically familiar with these trucks
i can break anything

If people weren’t breaking these parts they would not make stronger ones

Back to talking about the free-spin kit, the main marketing focus the companies have always used on these are providing the serviceable bearings and locking hubs for better fuel economy and less wear. People breaking any part that the free spin kit replaces has never been a major issue

After watching pws wheeling on YouTube it does seem that the most vulnerable parts are the rocker panels and other body parts just because they are so big

I've always considered actual breakage different than body damage. To me breaking something means leaving you stranded out in the trail and the parts needs fixed or replaced before going any further. Body damage like denting the rocker panels or scratching the paint is just a "Oh S#*%....that will cost some money to fix" but you can just keep driving.

And what and how did you break l was taught the first rule of wheeling is if you jump it it will break if you are doing stuff like that unless you beef it up that’s why they make that stuff lift kit axel trusses rcv axles how much you can afford will determine how hard you wheel

Tail gate destroyed , front bumper destroyed , front R/H tire and wheel toast

Sidewall caught a rock and ripped it right off

Bumpers were my fault all around put a new bring it tail gait with camera with tail gate down ( I was hauling bikes and backed into a boulder )

That sucks the stock bumper is not very strong anyway tires and rims are always at risk when wheeling I think I would get a tailgate without a camera because they are cheaper when it breaks upgrade lol
