Your truck isn't sending anything back to Mopar. There may however be a log that a tech can pull to see when a particular error began throwing codes.
Actually our trucks do send information to MOPAR's site ...
I kept getting the Health and Performance reports from mopar.com every Saturday even after my Sirius XM subscription expired ... I kept getting warnings that my abs needed service, that my TMPS sensors needed service (I changed the thresholds with ALFAOBD), that I needed my A/C serviced, all sorts of things that needed service but I never once got a warning or error on my dash, I even checked with alfaobd and nothing ever popped up ..
I finally decided to call the dealership and ask them why I kept getting emails about my truck's health and performance reports and the service manager puts me on hold .... he then came back and said, "this is weird, your subscription to Sirius XM expired after one year and you are still getting these emails?" ...I said yeeep ...
Puts me on hold for almost 15 minutes, I hang up and called back, he gets back on the phone and says this to me "I have fixed the issue, you will no longer get reports about your truck's health and performance" ....
I was like nice ok thank you ...
Something made me look on mopar.com and what do you know? I no longer have access to the health and performance reports ... this was within minutes of hanging up with him ...
A couple months later I took my truck in for the replacement of the fuel tank and that's when I found out it was cancelled ... but then the service guy says to me "is there a reason you have not brought your truck in to have it's ABS service" ... I was like what? Why do you ask that, he says "well, the health and performance report is reporting an issue with your ABS system" ....lol
I then asked to speak to the service manager and ask him about this, he pulled the service tech to the side, they spoke for about 5 minutes, took a walk to my truck, came back and said "We apologize for the inconvenience, but there is nothing to be looked at regarding your trucks ABS system in our system, the tech made a mistake and pulled up another truck"....RIGHT! LOL ..
Everything is getting reported about our trucks whether we know it or not, even if the Sirius XM subscription is expired it still reports it to mopar.com but if they update their system in time the owner will not get emails reporting the issues, it's simply a way for them to make money ...
How do I know? I know a service manager at another Chrysler dealer who told me that the performance and health reports are a scam and give out false positives to get the owners to bring in their vehicles into the dealership for services that are not even needed lol ...
So take this bit of info however you guys want it, I am all about integrity when it comes to customer service and business, everything that happens to our trucks is being monitored, recorded and even manipulated ....
