What is a “Black Widow” Ram?

Never heard of this edition. While browsing, Saw one for sale here in my area (N Virginia)... for $82k! Pic below.

Are these modified straight from the factory or can one take their stock Ram and turn it into a Black Widow?

LOVE the looks.... but not the price!

Is this a sporty arm of FCA kind of like a Shelby edition or AMG?

I bet it's like a Rocky Ridge package- they take a factory truck from the dealership and add the overpriced mods to it.

They are just a 3rd party company that builds them for dealerships to sell. They don’t sell parts to end users, just like the Minotaur trucks by Prefix: https://www.prefix.com/minotaur/

They are nice trucks, my local dealer had 2 Black Widow Ram 1500's, a red and a black, when I bought my 2500. The price was about $75,000.

They make an HD version but I haven't seen any of those in person, but a quick search shows a diesel version is $81-$88,000. Not bad considering the 1500 is in the 70's. It is twice the cost of my truck, so I'll pass
As far as I know they don't offer their products for purchase, you buy the built truck or get nothing.

It would appear, based on the parts list, you could make your own "BW" edition without the "BW" company parts.

It's a southern comfort conversion done at scaperformance in trussville alabama. Back in the 90s and early 00s slot what they did were lowered trucks with fade pain jobs/graphics, air dams, flares and running boards.
