Whoops. The photo was there before I sent it. Anyway, its the small display just behind the steering wheel. Looks like the Park,Reverse,Drive display on old vehicles. I'll try to post photo again.

Try the arrow buttons on the left side of your steering wheel to rotate through the displays Ram calls the EVIC ( Electronic Vehicle Information Center).

I'm about 99% sure that's the onboard spy that makes sure you are paying attention to the road via infrared. Not a display.

The instant I saw the color of the cover I knew it had something to do with infrared sensors! It's a very specific colorant used in certain plastics where you want to allow infrared through but block visible and other spectrum of light. How do I know? I spent a couple years developing a toy system that used IR to communicate and we needed to filter out unwanted light.
