What Kind of scanner

Just curious what types of scanners are out there and how much, I have one that reads engine codes but I need i need one to read the TIPM
Any ideas

If you're considering scanners that connect straight to your phone or laptop, go for the OBDLink MX. It's on the pricey side but imo well worth the extra money. Coming from a cheapy $30 tool, the MX seems to communicate a lot faster with whatever its connected to.

Since you have an '06, you can use AlfaOBD with your truck. If you ever get into that, this scantool is the best for that too. I personally have the OBDLink MX+ so I can use it with my iPhone.

Here's the base MX for $70. The MX+ is just 10 bucks more if you're wanting to use it with an apple device

As for TIPM, I'm not 100% sure on that. What exactly are you trying to find in the TIPM?
