What year and why is that one the BEST?

Not a fan of the rotary shifter though. HD trucks should have a column shifter. And some of the interior elements aren't necessary....carbon fiber in the dash? I like my '18 PW, but wish it had the LED lights.

I’d take an 8spd with rotary shifter over the 6spd with a column shifter any day. And I’ve only driven a couple 1500 8spd and it’s hands down better. I’m trying to talk myself into buying a new one lol.

Some will say the ‘05 is the only good one, minimal electronics. Some will say the ‘13 is the best cause it still has the 4.56 gears yet the new interior. My ‘16 works for me. ‘19s have the 8 speed trans which should be nice.

Its all what you are after. Research what each year cutoff has to offer and go from there.

The one each person owns....each has pros and cons I love my 2017, but I want an 8 speed. Love the older styles from the 70s....just unique it's hard to say what the best is
