If it is blinking while the vehicle is off it is armed but if it is blinking while running it is broken. BTDT. Also a couple of years ago there was a change in cell transmission that rendered the original control boxes obsolete and they all had to be replaced.
The system is linked to a phone number so that when you press the button a person at EVTS will call the phone number on file to determine if there is an emergency. also if you have the account information you can track the vehicle location on the app or a computer.
If you purchased this truck used you should call EVTS and see if they can help you find out if there is an active account associated with the VIN.

I bought it new so I guess I should call the dealer about it?
